Help!
Please start here if you're having trouble accessing the Evans Library resources from off-campus. This is usually an issue with some security setting on your computer. You may have adjusted these already, but please follow the instructions in the next paragraph.
· Go to Control Panel -> Security Center -> Internet Options. The Security tab should be there.
· Make sure the security level is set to medium-high or medium.
· Next, click on the Privacy tab. Same thing here, make sure the Internet Zone is set lower than medium-high.
· Next click on the Sites button. Here you want to add fmcc.edu & fmcc.sln.suny.edu You might want to add suny.edu also – just to cover all the bases.
· The pop-up blocker at the bottom shouldn’t be an issue. If you have security software like Norton, CA Associates, ZoneAlarm, etc., you might have to do something similar inside that software. These programs are usually located at the lower right of your taskbar.
