This research guide has been developed by the librarians at the Evans Library to assist in finding information factual or cultural information on various countries. Clicking on the green tabs will give you access to various sources:

Reference Sources: Books that will always be available in the Library.  These are great sources for economic, political and cultural statistics.  Each book's call number tell you where it is located; all of these books will be in the 1st floor Reference section.

Articles & Reports: Use the databases provided by the Evans Library to easily find information on countries.  Just type in the name of the country one of the boxes.

Internet Resources: We've narrowed down the millions of web sites to three really reliable and accurate ones.  Depending on what information you're looking for about a country, one site may be more useful than another.  Remember, when in doubt, ask a librarian!
